Tecno recently launched its flagship Phantom X2 series in Dubai. The company launched two premium smartphones namely Tecno Phantom X2 and Phantom X2 Pro. The phones were launched with a premium price in Dubai. Tecno revealed that it is launching the Phantom X2 in India. The device will go on sale through Amazon from January 9.
The company will announce pricing and deal details at launch, which will take place during the first week of January 2023. Meanwhile, a new leak has revealed the pricing details for the Phantom X2. The leaked price suggests that the Phantom X2 5G will be much more affordable in India than it is in Dubai. The price of the Tecno Phantom X2 in India could be more than half of the global price
The Tecno Phantom X2 5G will be officially available for pre-order in India from January 2. Prior to the launch, the pricing details of the phone were leaked.
Tipster Paras Guglani revealed that the Phantom X2 will have a special launch price of Rs 26,999 in India. The price includes bank offers. This is around Rs 32,500 less than the global price of the phone, which launched for SAR 2,699 (approximately Rs 59,500).
Guglani did not reveal the RAM and storage options. However, the company has confirmed that the phone will offer 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone is also confirmed to launch in Stardust Gray and Moonlight Silver colors.
Other specifications of the phone will remain the same. The device will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. It is likely to be the most affordable smartphone with the flagship-level MediaTek SoC.
On the front, there will be a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It will offer support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen will also feature a perforated cutout at the top and will come with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for protection against drops and scratches.
There will be a triple camera setup at the back with a 64MP main camera sensor with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the device will come with a 32MP front-facing camera sensor. The phone packs a robust 5160 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging out of the box.
