Tecno last week launched the Tecno Pova 4 smartphone in the Indian market. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting today in the country. To recall, the Tecno Pova 4 sports a MediaTek Helio 99 processor and offers a 90Hz refresh rate display. The smartphone is equipped with a 6000 mAh battery and a 50 MP camera setup.

Tecno Pova 4: price in India and availability
The Tecno Pova 4 comes in an 8GB + 128GB configuration and is priced at Rs 11,999. However, as an introductory offer, Tecno is offering a fixed discount of Rs 1000 on the purchase of Pova 4 on December 13 and 14.
The Tecno Pova 4 will be available for purchase starting at 12:00 pm, today (December 13) exclusively through Amazon.

The new Tecno Pova 4 flaunts a 90Hz LCD display panel with an HD+ resolution that measures 6.82 inches in size. It supports a 180Hz touch sampling rate and accommodates the front selfie shooter within a punch hole notch. The smartphone is also widevine L1 certified so users can stream Netflix and Amazon Prime content in HD.
The latest smartphone from the Pova series is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 processor. It is an octa-core processor that comes along with an integrated Mali G57 GPU and is manufactured on a 6nm process. This is the same processor that powers the Redmi 11 Prime, POCO M5, Realme 10, and more. Tecno has equipped Pova 4 with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It comes preloaded with HiOS 12, which is based on Android 12.
The new Pova 4 includes a dual rear camera setup and an LED flash. The main shooter on the device is a 50MP sensor that has an aperture of f/1.6. Tecno has also included an AI lens of unknown resolution. The smartphone features an 8MP front facing camera and an LED flash at the front.
Under the hood, the Pova series phone has a 6000 mAh battery unit. It supports 18W fast charging via a Type-C port. On the security front, Tecno has equipped the device with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that resided on the right edge of the device. The Tecno Pova 4 comes in Cryolite Blue and Uranolith Gray color options.
The new Pova 4 measures 170.59 × 77.52 × 8.7mm and weighs 212 grams. It offers a stereo speaker setup with DTS audio support. The smartphone also features a dedicated micro-SD card slot. The Tecno Pova 4 is also splash resistant, thanks to the IPX2 rating.

The Tecno Pova 4 competes against the likes of the Redmi 11 Prime, POCO M5, Moto G42, and Samsung Galaxy M13. However, the Pova 4 is one of the few smartphones in the segment that offers 8 GB of RAM.
