Tottenham and Arsenal are targeting French World Cup standout Adrien Rabiot for a January transfer

The last team to enter the competition to sign juventus midfield player Adrian Rabiot is Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal, who play Tottenham in north London, want Rabiot, according to a report yesterday. Rabiot would like to move on to the Gunners.

Rabiot was about to join United in the summer, but a deal fell through at the last minute.

The player has expressed his passion for the Premier League and has spoken about his future. Despite interest from the likes of United, Arsenal and Tottenham, he wouldn’t rule out a transfer in the near future.

Juventus have informed Spurs that the France midfielder will cost around £13.5m. Because they fear that he may decide to move to the Premier League.

His mother, Veronique, also his agent, “has offered him to Tottenham and Arsenal, among others.”

Tottenham are ready to bid for Adrien Rabiot

The 27-year-old, who shone for France at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, is a longtime international for Tottenham and can make an offer for Juventus during the January transfer window.

Tottenham and Juventus are close friends and have recently done business through the moves of Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Betancur.

Fabio Paratici, the club’s sports director, spent 11 years in the Turin hierarchy. He is still determining if United’s interest will increase now that competitors are working harder to sign Rabiot. The Red Devils can make their move to avoid bolstering a Premier League rival.

Arsenal are also targeting the Juventus midfielder

The Gunners are willing to negotiate with the Old Lady to “quickly” bring Rabiot to the Emirates Stadium.

Although Massimiliano Allegri, the manager, wants to keep him until the end of the season, Juventus have set a January transfer fee of €15m (£13.2m) and Veronique Rabiot, the player’s mother and agent, is asking €10 million. (£8.8 million) in payment.

The playmaker’s contract with the club expires in June and, from January 1, he is free to talk to teams outside of Italy about the terms.

However, Juventus are more likely keen to get rid of him for a bargain mid-season price than lose him for free. And it seems that the wily Gunners are prepared to seize the moment to try and reinforce their midfield.

It will be intriguing to see if Arsenal make an offer for Rabiot as it looks like Tottenham most certainly will.
