Vivo has launched its new S series smartphones in China. The company has launched three devices in the S series lineup. These include the Vivo S16, S16e, and S16 Pro. The S16 series is currently exclusive to China. However, Vivo might launch the S16 series phones under a different name in other markets. There is no official confirmation on the same at the time of writing this article. However, what is confirmed are the specifications, features and other details of the phones.

The S16 Pro sits at the top of the lineup. Along with the S16 5G, it features a curved AMOLED display. The S16e, on the other hand, has a flat panel. The phones come with a triple camera setup at the back. Let’s take a look at the price, specifications and other details of the Vivo S16 series.

Vivo S16 series price and specifications

The Vivo S16 Pro launched with two storage options in China. The base model has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. It is priced at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs 39,100). The 12GB + 512GB storage option, on the other hand, is priced at 3,599 (roughly Rs 42,700).

The S16 5G, on the other hand, is available in 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB storage options, which are priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 29,600), CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs 32,000). ), and CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs 35,600).

The S16e is available in three storage options: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. These variants are priced at CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs 24,900), CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs 27,300) and CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 29,600).

The phones are available in Starry Night Black, Sea Foam Green, and Hyacinth Purple color options.

Moving on to the specs, the S16 Pro and S16 come with a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. There is a hole-punch cutout at the top for the 50MP front-facing camera. The phones also come with a Full HD+ resolution. The S16e has a 6.62-inch flat AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and support for 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with a 16MP front-facing camera.

At the back, there is a triple camera setup. However, phones have different sensors. The S16 Pro has a 50MP main camera with OIS, along with a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The S16 5G has a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. Lastly, the S16e has a 50MP main camera and dual 2MP macro and depth sensors.

Under the hood, the S16 Pro has a Dimensity 8200 SoC, while the S16 has a Snapdragon 870 SoC. The S16e has an Exynos 1080 SoC. All three phones pack a 4600mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
