Vivo has launched another Y-series smartphone – the Vivo Y35 5G. The latest Y-series smartphone makes its global debut in the Chinese market and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. The new Vivo Y35 5G is a mid-range smartphone, but the inclusion of a 60° refresh rate display Hz with HD+ resolution is a pain.
The Vivo Y35 5G is backed by a 5000 mAh battery and comes equipped with a 13 MP primary shooter. Other highlights of the smartphone include a 5MP selfie camera, 15W fast charging, a Type-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Vivo Y35 5G is available for purchase in China. However, nothing is known yet about the global and Indian availability of the device.
Vivo Y35 5G: Specifications and features
The new Y35 5G features a 6.51-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution (1600 × 720 pixels), 269ppi pixel density, 1500:1 contrast ratio, and 70% NTSC color gamut. It’s a standard 60Hz refresh rate panel that supports a 120Hz touch sampling rate and accommodates the selfie shooter within a waterdrop notch.
The latest Y-series smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor that brings with it an integrated Mali G57 GPU. This is the same processor that we’ve seen in a number of mid-range devices, including the Redmi 11 Prime 5G, POCO M3 Pro 5G, Realme 8 5G, Realme Narzo 30 5G, Lava Blaze 5G, and more. It comes paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The new Y35 5G comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13MP main shooter with an aperture of f/2.2. There’s also a 2MP macro shooter and an LED flash on the rear. The smartphone uses a 5MP front-facing shooter that has an aperture of f/1.8.
The latest Y-series phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery unit and 15W fast charging support. It has a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the security front and also supports face unlock feature. The smartphone boots OriginOS Ocean, based on Android 13.
The Vivo Y35 5G comes in black, gold, and blue color options. It weighs 186 grams and measures 164.05 × 75.60 × 8.15 mm. The phone’s connectivity options include Dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and Beidou.
