Xiaomi has confirmed that it will host a new launch event in China on December 1. The company will introduce its new flagship Xiaomi 13 series at the event on December 1. Along with the Xiaomi 13 series, the Chinese tech giant will also launch new wearables. The Xiaomi Buds 4 and the Xiaomi Watch S2 will mark their debut at the Xiaomi 13 launch event.
The company has not confirmed any details about the two wearables. Meanwhile, a new report from 91Mobiles has leaked the price and specifications of the two Xiaomi products. Let’s take a look at the price, specifications and other details known so far of Xiaomi Buds 4 and Xiaomi Watch S2.
Xiaomi Buds 4, Watch S2 Price
Xiaomi has teased the launch of the Buds 4 in China. The company has also confirmed the design of its new truly wireless earbuds ahead of launch. The Buds 4 will feature a similar design to the AirPods 2 with a tall stem. The headphones have an open-ear design, and each has a microphone cutout. Xiaomi has also teased the design of the charging case, which has a two-tone finish. We don’t currently know the specifications, but pricing details have leaked online. The 91Mobiles report claimed that the Xiaomi Buds 4 price in China will start at RMB 600 (roughly Rs 6,800). If it launches in India, we can expect the Buds 4 to be available for around Rs 7,500.
The report, which cites whistleblower Ishan Agarwal, also revealed the price of the Xiaomi Watch S2. Xiaomi’s next smartwatch will be released as a successor to the original Watch S1. It will launch in two sizes, according to the report. The 42mm S2 watch will be priced at RMB 999 (approximately Rs 11,400). There will also be a 46mm variant of the Watch S2.
Apart from the pricing details, the report also revealed the color options of both the Watch S2 variants. The report claims that the 42mm variant will be released in black and gold colors. The 46mm variant, on the other hand, will debut in shades of black and silver.
Xiaomi’s next smartwatch is likely to have a circular dial. Could feature a stainless steel frame. The smartwatch is also likely to feature an AMOLED screen. In addition to this, the leaked details suggest that there will be support for Bluetooth calls and GPS for route tracking and navigation. These features are already available on the Watch S1. So it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Watch S2 has the same set of features.
Xiaomi has yet to confirm any details regarding the India launch of the two wearables. We will share more details when they become available.
